One of the most common foods that produce omega-3 fatty acids is salmon fish. If you are a lover of seafood, you may include oysters which are known for their iodine richness.

Omega-3 fatty acids contained in fish would help develop your baby’s brain and may result in newborns with higher Intelligence Quotient (IQ). Most kids with higher IQ grow up to become geniuses.

2). Yogurt

As a pregnant woman, it is natural to crave sweet tasty foods, so here is one for you – yoghurt. I love yoghurt and I regularly consumed it during all my pregnancies. I would advise that you should take more plain yoghurt because of its high content of calcium than milk.

Moreso, it has other essential nutrients that are vital for both the mother and baby’s development. These nutrients include protein, B vitamins, and zinc.
